Thanksgiving

I am determined to get caught up! I just have to find the time to blog!

Our Thanksgiving turned out to be a great one! It all started when we decided to have a "mock Thanksgiving" with all the family on my mom's side. It was really fun and the food was great! My mom even decorated the table all fancy!

Then we headed up to St. George to spend our actual Thanksgiving with Grandma Nancy! She is such an amazing cook, so I was looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner!

We got to see Grandpa Joe and Uncle Randy while we stayed up here. It was quite the party!

Just chillin'

We got to see Grandpa Joe and Uncle Randy's new house, and the whole family came along! We had to get a picture, because we don't get to see each other that often.

So that was our Thanksgiving. It was a really good one and I had a really good time! Now I just can't wait until next year to celebrate our gratitude with family.

AIDA!!!!!!

Here is just a quick post about Aida, the school play we are doing. I am in it, and I play a palace slave. We have been working on it since November, and it has been a really fun experience. Anyway, I invite all of you to come and see it! It is at Fairfield Jr. High at 7:00 on the 21st of March to the 24th of March and a Matinee on Saturday the 24th at 2:00. Tickets at the door are $5-6 for adults, $4 for kids, and kids 3 and under get in free. It will be a really great show and I am very excited! Hope to see you there!

My New Favorite Quote

A couple months ago, I posted my favorite quote. Since then, my friend Marissa told me another quote that I love even more! It has really helped me these past couple weeks and it will be sure to help me in the future. It goes like this:

"Hope is like the sun, which as we journey towards, casts the shadows of our burdens behind us!"

I love that quote because it is so true! We must never forget to travel towards hope. It will cast our burdens behind us!

Halloween Wrap-Up

Halloween was great even though it was so long ago! I decided to go as none other but... a princess! It was actually pretty fun. My friends and I all decided to be princesses, but someone backed out and went the other way... just kidding Chancey! I love ya!

Braiden decided to go as the fearless Harry Potter, one of the favorite characters at our house!

Ethan, now in love with Star Wars, decided to go as Han Solo. I love his little hand gun!

Lauren, going costume less, pulled her signature zombie pose.

And I decided to go as a princess.

It was a good Halloween full of costumes, scares, friends, family, and of course, candy!
